Tuesday Tip – #8 – Andie Mitchell

Tuesday Tip is brought to you from a desire to increase my knowledge of all things fitness, weight loss and health. My challenge for 2013 is to post one tip a week. Hopefully this will help me in my weight loss journey and others who search to live a more knowledgeable life.

Sometimes when you’re on a long, scary, terrifying and overwhelming journey like I am, you just need to know that there is someone else out there who’s been there and is willing to share every inch of their journey with honesty, truth and wit. Andie Mitchell is that person for me. Her story is wonderful, encouraging and most of all relatable. She doesn’t pretend like losing 135lbs was some magical experience where one day she decided she was gonna do it and never look back, never back tracked, never slipped up, never ate that extra cookie just because.

I love that about her, because the truth is that’s exactly how my story goes. Every morning I wake up dedicated to my weight loss journey and some days I stay right on track and other days the stress and anxiety that comes with life is just too much and all I want to do is succumb to my desire to stress eat, and so I do. Not only does she offer a refreshing take on the journey and how she got there but she also shares some pretty fantastic recipes. Here are my two favorites so far…
